The Numark TTUSB Turntable Having USB Review - Please Read Before You Purchase!

Don't give away all those old vinyl records you have laying around if you've been wondering what to do with them. Introducing the new Numark TTUSB Turntable with USB - the answer you've been long waiting for. The very affordably priced turntable works superbly for digitizing all tha old vinyl and more. It even provides a  feature which allows you to attach a cassette player or other line level input for no-sweat conversion as well. Now try saying you don't like that thought. See mixtrack.

Add to that fact is that it plays your records through your preferred audio line input on your pleasure as well. Two software programs comes with the shipment. EZ hastily converts your music data to itune format enabling you to store tunes on your iPod. The second program, Audacity, enables you to get rid of scratches and pops and clean up your old recordings and  so your vinyl sounds brand new again. It then keeps them as mp3s or a higher quality setting. A couple of downsides  will be discussed as we go, (remember that this is a budget priced turntable) but thinking about the overall benefits, this one is hard to beat.
Here are some of the cool features the package includes:

A replaceable cartridge (which you won't find on its cousin, the ION turntable, also built by Numark... strange?)
Copy cassettes or any line level source via the 1/8" stereo input jack
The supplied software easy to use once set up
Pitch control +/- 8%
Good quality sound
No noticeable hum
Plays 33 1/3 and 45 rpm (with 78 rpm support via software)
USB support
Adjustable anti skating control
Plug-and-play connection to your PC or Mac
Built in preamp allows you to connect to any line level input

A couple of very minimal setbacks to mention:

If you're anything like me and also tend to drift off to sleep while listening to music, your needle might get worn down to a nub when you wake up.Two, since there is no cue lever, utmost care is needed to not drop the needle onto the record. Rather, gently place it down. Otherwise, the price corresponds to this really great unit.Whether you like to digitize, or if you simply want to listen to the great sound of vinyl and you have a collection of vinyl or cassettes, this is a great solution.Make sure you click the link only if you're thinking of buying the Numark TTUSB Turntable A very extensive review on the TTUSB can be found there so be sure to read and understand it completely before you decide to buy.
